DES MOINES OPERA CHAMBER MUSIC SERIES
| The Des Moines Metro Opera Orchestra is very much committed to having
its members participating in a series of chamber music concerts. For the
past several seasons, the concerts have been held on Sunday evenings at
8 p.m. The venue has varied in the past, but the concerts now take place
at Lekberg Hall in the Amy Robertson Music Pavilion at Simpson College.
Attendance has generally been excellent as the concerts have become
popular with both musicians and audiences alike. Below is the printed
program from the concert of July 6, 2003. It gives an idea of some
of the music performed at these concerts. The chamber concert for the
2010 summer season takes place on Sunday, July 11, 2010. .
